Background
Gumperson Creative Services was founded in 1998 by Herb Foster, who has extensive background covering a wide spectrum of related strategic marketing communications, creative development and event/production management services. Since 1998, GCS has been responsible for over 20 meetings, from Florida to Colorado, from New York to the Caribbean; as well as tons of videos/CDs/collateral; and the development / execution of complete marketing communication programs.

Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Foster was Vice President of Marketing Communications at ENTEX Information Services, a $2.5 Billion computer integrator (now Siemens Business Services,). As a member of the six-man executive management team reporting to the CEO, he was responsible for all aspects of internal/external communications, collateral development, public relations/analyst relations, advertising, events/recognition programs, presentations/speech development and overall development/execution of Mar/Comm. strategy. At ENTEX, he managed the execution of numerous large meetings, ranging from 25-person CEO councils to 1,300-person recognition events, including both meeting logistics and all stage production elements.

Foster also has strong large corporate advertising and marketing experience, having been a Product Manager and Group Brand Manager at Philip Morris USA for over 11 years. Additional expertise is in sports marketing, with Foster having been recruited to Philip Morris to run the Virginia Slims tennis tour. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Account Executive for a Public Relations Agency. In college/post college, he worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Boston and Newark, N.J.
